Robert Clauss

CLAUSS, Robert, age 80, of Kettering, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2013. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Clauss, Jr. Bob is survived by his wife, Pauline Clauss; daughter, Becky (Don) Cox; grandchildren, Nathan (Sara) Cox, Michelle Cox (fiancé, Matt Jones); daughter-in-law, Cathy Clauss; grandchildren, Adam and Aaron Clauss, and sister, Florence Collins.

Bob served with the U.S. Army in Germany. Bob recently became a Christian and trusted in the name of the Lord in May of 2013. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Kettering Memorial Hospital 3 and 5 South.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm. Pastor Richard Springer officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
