Robert Christian

Robert Christian, age 87 of Dayton, passed away October 16, 2024. He was born November 7, 1936 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Beatrice and John Christian.

Robert is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Jeffrey and Loren; grandson, Alexander; granddaughter, Madeline; numerous nieces and nephews.

Robert served in the Air Force for 23 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. Following his military service, he worked at the VA for 20 years. Robert finished his employment working as a greeter at Meijer for many years. He stopped working to care for his wife Emily as she suffered from Alzheimer's. 

Robert has been reunited with Emily and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Faith Presbyterian Church, 5555 Chambersburg Road Huber Heights, OH 45424.

Graveside service will be held at 9:00 am on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Dayton National Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Robert's memory to Faith Presbyterian Church or Alzheimer's Association.
