Robert Christopher Carson, 101, went to sleep in the arms of Jesus on July 9, 2020 in Miamisburg, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Grace Lange Carson of 72 years; he was a Loving Father of Noralee (David) Bussell and Amy (Paul Micallef) Carson; a Proud Grandfather of Catherine (Jason) Heath, and Nicole (Adam) Barton and Great-Grandfather of Carson and Coralyn Heath, Micah and Juliette Barton.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Sophia Carson, brother James Carson, and sister Edith Liston.
Robert was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 6, 1919 and was a resident of Michigan for over sixty years. Then in 2017 he moved to Dayton, Ohio to be near family.
Robert spent his career at Federal Mogul and retired as Director of Purchasing. Robert was a devout Seventh-Day Adventist Christian and loved the Lord with all his heart. He was an active member for over 60 years in the Warren Seventh-day Adventist in Michigan, and held many positions including youth leader, head elder, building committee chairman, and board chairman. Robert always loved to tell a good joke and loved to make people laugh. We will miss his smile, his heart for Jesus, and compassion for others. He always ended a visit with "I will be watching for you at the Eastern Gate in Heaven."
