January 9, 1922 — October 2, 2014
Robert B. "Cap" Capstick, age 92, of Vandalia, OH, died Thursday, October 2, 2014. He proudly served in WW-II and recently made an Honor Flight to visit Washington D.C. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Jane; and his son, Mike.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Carolyn (Mike) D'Amato of Chagrin Falls, OH and Jill (John) Ritter of Phillipsburg. He is also survived by the "lights of his life", his grandchildren Steve (girlfriend, Alex Millisor) of Oakwood and Aaron (Trisha) Ritter of Hilliard. The family also would like to express their deepest gratitude to Ms. Rita Robinson, his devoted caregiver, who he thought of as his third daughter. He was a great dad and grandpa whose wisdom, kindness and sense of humor will be missed. His love for us and ours for him will live on.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 14 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
