Robert C. "Rob" Damron, Jr.
Age 46, of Kettering, passed away Monday, February 7, 2011. He was born in Dayton on July 15, 1964.
Rob was preceded in death by all of his grandparents; his father, Robert C. Damron Sr.; his aunt, Brenda McBride; and his very special friend, Michael Sandridge.
Rob is survived by his mother, Sharon Hall; step-mother, Joyce Damron; his brothers, Aaron (Stacy) and Michael (Tammy); nieces & nephew, Abbey, Brittany, Kristyn, Maya & Mason; and by his extended family & many good friends and customers.
Rob graduated from Northridge High School in 1982; he also graduated Phi Theta Kappa from Sinclair Community College. He spent about 12 years working for the Buckhorn Tavern as a bartender, then moved on to work for Canteberry Retirement Community before running his own business: Floor to Ceiling Remodeling and Restoration for the final 12 years of his life. Rob was an artist and craftsman who touched many lives.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum.
