Robert Brian Bucher, age 67 of Kettering, OH, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at his home in Kettering. He was born August 26, 1953 in Dayton, OH to the late Louis and Margaret (Walsh) Bucher.
Left to cherish Brian's memory are his wife of 29 years, Deborah "Dee" Bucher; son, Travis Pack; step-son, Les Swallows; daughters: Tabitha and Kristen Bucher; grandchildren: Chelsie Slorp, Justin Pack, Jeremy Pack, Jordan Pack, and Tyler Swallows; several great-grandchildren; brothers: Fred Bucher; Thomas (Sherry) Bucher, and Richard (Tracy) Bucher; and several other relatives and friends.
Brian was proud to be a grumpy old man. Nobody was fooled, though. He had a heart of gold, and was immensely proud of his grandchildren. Brian was an avid Kentucky Wildcats fan. He loved watching their basketball games, and seeing his grandchildren play a variety of sports. Brian was very much loved by his family, in-laws, and friends. Most of all, Brian enjoyed spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek) where a memorial service celebrating Brian's life will follow at 4:00 p.m.
