Robert "Bobby" Brackney
Age 40, of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, at Hospice of Dayton after a short battle with cancer.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Marsha & Rex Kreider.
He is survived by his wife, Laura (Sierer) Brackney; five children, Ashley, Amy, Brandon, Amber & Taylor; one grandson, Aiden; three brothers, William, Benjamin & Bradley; his grandmother, Christine McPherson; and by his aunt, Diana (Chico) Burns.
Bobby was employed by Waste Management. He was an avid softball player and a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Ohio State Buckeyes and Jeff Gordon # 24.
The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, with Pastor Henry Chafin officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made in memory of Bobby to a fund established to benefit his children. Contributions may be made at any National City Bank Branch in the name of Laura Brackney in trust for Robert Brackney.
