Robert Borgerding

BORGERDING, Robert 77 of Dayton; passed away Tuesday, September, 14, 2004. He was ordained a Deacon of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, OH. June 21, 1986 and assigned to St. Peter Catholic Church. Robert proudly served his country for 8 yrs. as an U.S. Marine in WWII & Korea. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 yrs., Mary; parents, Joseph & Marie Borgerding; 2 brothers, Joseph & Charles. Survivors include 6 sons, Robert J. (Betty), Larry (Kathy), Tony (Laure), John (Carole), Tom (Debbi) & James (Janet) Borgerding; 6 daughters, Cathy (Terry dec'd) Lecklider, Judy (Ray) Wollenhaupt, Janet Lodge, Mary (Doug) Horn, Lisa (Larry) Smith & Jennifer Clinger; 31 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ronnie (Belle), Dick (Janet) & Ben (Sue) Borgerding; 1 sister, Virginia Sanchez; numerous nieces, nephews, family & friends. Vigil and Reception of the Body will be held at 4 pm followed by visitation until 8 pm Friday, September, 17, 2004 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the church, Father Earl F. Simone, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if desired contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Peter Parish and/or Juvenile Diabetes Association.
