With such devastation, we announce that Robert "Bobby" Douglas Dickerson, age 51, of Dayton, born February 6, 1971 has passed away September 21, 2022.
Robert was preceded in death by his father, Melvin J. Dickerson and his brother, James A. Dickerson.
He leaves behind his 3 children, Abbigale Kaylene Sherrill, Anthony Robert Sherrill and Jordan Sherrill; grandchildren, Kyle Lee Cook Jr., Addison Sherrill and one more on the way-due in May 2023; mother, Vada Sturgill; sisters, Sandra Igo, Brenda Cundiff and Patricia Dickerson; brothers, Jerry and Steven Dickerson; several nieces; nephews; extended relatives and many friends-including special friends, Christan H., Sarah Mullins and Kurt, all of Dayton.
The family would like to thank Chris's Band Box & Connell's Bar of Dayton for their fundraisers, your kindness will always be appreciated.
Robert "Deaf Bobby" will forever be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. A celebration of life will follow at 4pm.
