Robert "Bob" Stelljes

Robert "Bob" Stelljes, age 87, of Riverside, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Bob was born in Queens, New York on November 9, 1936 to the late William & Freida Stelljes.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Beverly Stelljes; son-in-law, Randy Bullen; and brother-in-law, John Nitka.

Bob is survived by his children, Debbie Stelljes, Robin Bullen and William "Bill" (Amy) Stelljes; grandchildren, Kimberly (Brandon) Mickells, Ashley (Rob) Tingler and Bobby (Angelina) Bullen; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Brooklyn, Kinley, Liam and Emma; sister, Linda Nitka; and many other relatives and friends.

Bob retired from the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of active duty and 20 years of civil service for the DoD. He was an avid model railroad enthusiast. Bob was a member of the VFW and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, New York Mets, L.A. Raiders and New York Rangers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February, 4th, 2024 from 12:30-1:30pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45424. The service will follow at 1:30pm. We will meet at the funeral home at 9am on Monday, February 5th, 2024. Then process to Dayton National Cemetery for a committal service with full military honors at 10am, where Bob will be laid to rest with his wife, Beverly.
