Robert Blazek, Sr.

Blazek, Robert William (Sr.), age 61, of Dayton passed away on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 9, 1945 in Reno, Nevada, the son of William Stephen & Irene (Carey) Blazek. He served in the US Army in the 173rd Airborne. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Barbara (Lunsford) Blazek; sons, Robert Blazek Jr. & Chris Blazek, both of Riverside; grandchildren, Dani Lynn Blazek & Jay Blazek; brothers, Jay (Bonnie) Blazek & William (Linda) Blazek; sister, Helen (Dave) Williams; special friends, Bob Ward & Steve Blair; and numerous other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Friday, March 2, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH. Burial will follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 PM.
