WHITE, Robert B.
Age 82, of Dayton, Ohio, died January 4, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur F. & Luna D.; brother, James Edward, and grandson, Adam Christopher. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Norma (Pummill); beloved constant canine companion, Noah; sons, Hal & Gary (Sue); daughter, Vicki (Joe) Wynne; six grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer) Mellon, Joshua & Eric White, Joel (Pam) Wynne, Brienna & Klare White; four great-grandchildren, Seth, Jacob, & Matthew Wynne, and Adela Mellon; brother, Paul White; sisters, Henrietta Helentjaris & Eunice Cunningham, as well as many nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during WWII, worked 30 yrs. at NCR, and was the owner/founder of R.B. Construction for 20+ years. Funeral services will be held 6:00pm Monday, January 7, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Family will receive friends from 5:00pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
