Robert Akemon

AKEMON, Robert L., age 46, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at his home. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joann and Cornelious Walters. Robert is survived by his wife of 20 years, Connie, sons, Robert and daughter-in-law, Chrissy and Todd Akemon, brothers, Cornel and Donnie Akemon, and Dallas (Keith) Walters, sisters, Sherry and brother-in-law, Ronnie Goens, Pat and brother-in-law, Michael Williams, mother and father -in-law, Norma and Cliff Barber, sister and brother -in-law, Lee and Mike Johnson, brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Shelly Groves, brother and sister-in-law, Wes and Cheryl Groves, and all other family and friends. He was a loving husband and father with a caring heart, who will be greatly missed. Robert would give to anyone in need and was the world's best hunting partner. He had a great sense of humor. If you were down, he'd always find a way to make you laugh. Robert loved his sons very much, and was not just a father, but a best friend to them, always trying to make their lives better than his own. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at 10:00am at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
