Robert A. Linville

Linville, Robert A., age 76 of Huber Heights, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 14, 1931 in Dayton, the son of John & Gladys (Wells) Linville. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Robert was an avid golfer and a wonderful grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents; niece, Tonya Nicholson; nephew John Charles Prinz; and his beloved dog, Emily. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Ruby Linville; daughters Michelle (Richard) Ruzick, Nicole (Robert) Boling, Debbie (Joe) Reich, Lisa (Nelson) Cooper; sisters, Bonnie Davisson, Becky Candela, & Nancy Call; brother, Bill Linville; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH. Interment will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 PM. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
