Those who knew Rita will forever remember her huge heart and remarkable ability to connect with others. She never met a stranger; her friendly demeanor and love for conversation made everyone feel welcome in her company. Friends and family playfully nicknamed her home “Wick's Carryout,” a testament to her nurturing spirit, as she always sent her guests home with bags filled with goodies. Rita had a unique gift for shopping, often bringing thoughtful gifts to those she loved, and her greatest joy was spending time with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren.
Rita is survived by her adored husband, William "Bill" Wick, and her loving children, Amber (Anthony) Broadstock and Allan Cantrell. She will be deeply missed by her step-sons, Matthew (Kala) Wick, William "Billy" Wick, Jr., and Joshua Wick.
