RITA CLAIRE RAINALDI, 89, of Medina, peacefully passed away on February 7th, 2024 at her son's home in Medina, Ohio. A longtime resident of Huber Heights, Ohio, Rita was born on December 17th, 1934, in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania to Albert Marsh and Ethel Marsh nee: Kabler.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ethel Marsh, two brothers, Donald and Bill Marsh, and her adoring husband of 53 years, Clement.
Rita is survived by her children, Jay (Natalie), Heather (Jared), her grandchildren, Nicholas (Jenna), Nathan, Zachary, and Keegan as well as loving, devoted extended family and many friends.
A graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Rita was a former employee at Wright Patterson Air Force Base and worked for many years as a teacher's aide at Monticello Elementary School in Huber Heights, where she was loved by faculty and students alike as a caring and devoted educator.
Rita enjoyed crafting and particularly enjoyed counted-cross stitch, crafting a number of very intricate works for family and friends over the years. She was known to be an immaculate housekeeper and there was never a time you could enter her home and not find it museum-quality. She was interested in fashion and never failed to spot a great deal on QVC or to point out when something was not to her particular liking. She loved traveling with her husband, Clem and was able to travel to many interesting places including the west coast, Hawaii, and New Hampshire on several occasions. Clem was the love of her life, and it is comforting to know that they are now reunited in love for eternity.
