Rita Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Rita F. age 79 of Dayton, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at Covenant House Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Asenath Finegan and her brothers Billy and Chuck Finegan. She is survived by 4 sons, David Montgomery of Beavercreek, James Jr. (Sharon) Montgomery, Chris Montgomery of Dayton, Scott (Barb) Montgomery of West Carrollton; 1 daughter Mary (Steve) Yarmosky of Massachusetts; grandchildren David, Hilarie, Hayley, Molly, Michael, Ariel, Brianna, Emily, Melissa, Katie, Megan, Ryan, Michele, Stacy, Mitch, Alexandra, Alena, Elyse and Jessica; sisters Pat, Liz and Mary Ann; sister-in-law Eileen and a host of other relatives and friends. Rita had a life long commitment to and a distinguished career in Human Services. She was an honors graduate of Wright State University. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Friday, February 3, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service. Interment at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Covenant House and the Hospice of Dayton for the love and care given to Rita.
