Rita K. Goodwin, age 61, the beloved wife of Terry Goodwin, of Springfield, OH went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 4, 2019. She was born July 10, 1957 in Dayton, Ohio to Billy and Helen (Madrie) Farley.
Rita was the co-owner of Goodwin Dental Lab in Springfield, OH with her husband Terry. They owned the lab for 17 years and worked together after that at Affordable Dentures in Middletown for 16 years. Rita retired from Affordable Dentures in 2015. She loved to collect cows and loved her dogs Chester and Polly. Rita loved her family dearly and enjoyed camping together with Terry and the dogs.
Rita is survived by her husband of 38 years,Terry; her mother, Helen Farley; three brothers, Billy R. Farley, Bertes Mitchell (Debra) Farley and Terry Lee (Thelma) Farley; two sisters, Linda Kay Choate and Cathy Ann (John) Moles; a sister in law, Clarissa and family; a brother in law, Roger (Patty) Goodwin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. She preceded in death by her father; a brother in law, Mark Goodwin; and a sister in law, Shauna.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Byron Cemetery.
