Rita Claude

Claude, Rita S., age 86, of Kettering, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at Grandview Hospital. She was born February 8, 1921 in Dayton, OH, the daughter of Francis & Clara (Abley) Somsel. She retired from General Motors Inland Division after over 30 years of employment. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, James Claude. Survivors include her children, Janet (Ed) Letner of Englewood, Karen (Mark) Richardson of Kettering, Mick (Chris) Claude of Huber Heights; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, August 13, 2007 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH 45424. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH on Sunday from 3-5 PM and at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of services on Monday. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
