Ridley J. Jones

JONES, Ridley J., age 86, of Dayton, died Saturday, September 29, 2007. He was born September 16, 1921 in Jackson County, TN, the son of Bedford and Lena Mae (Keith) Jones. He was a member of Eastview Church of God for over 40 years and was a United States Army Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Shirley Jones; two daughters and son-in-laws, Thelma and Henry Scott of New Lebanon and Jo Helen and Mike Wenclewicz of Dayton; two sons, Robert Jones of New Lebanon and Jason Jones of Dayton; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maggie Casteel and Bonnie Allen both of Cookeville, TN; two brothers, Cecil Jones of Cookeville, TN, and Herman "Booger" Jones of Gainesboro, TN. Ridley was preceded in death by both parents; first wife, Lola Jones; one son, Grady C. Jones; four brothers, Bill, Lex, Clifford, and James Jones. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2007 from 5-8 p.m. at Eastview Church of God (5289 Burkhardt Rd.) where funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Zeke Grigsby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, OH.
