Ricky McPherson, age 62, of Spring Valley, went to the big softball diamond in the sky on Thursday, April 24, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Christina and father, Ronald Hicks.
Ricky is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Helen McPherson; children, John (Shelley) McPherson, Mike (Dee Ann) McPherson, Kevin (RaAnn) McPherson, Lynn (Jeff) Woliver and Lori (Zac) Marshall; grandchildren, Samantha, Dallas, Megan, Cameron, Tori, Dylon, Austin, Ayden, Ean, Levi, Abby and Lily; great-grandson, Emmett; mother, Lois Hicks, sister, Diania (Bob) Collins; mother-in-law, Lucille Weidner; he was awaiting the arrival of granddaughter, Eva Alexandra and great-granddaughter, Alayna; and many other relatives and friends.
Graduate of Belmont High School 1970. Worked for Rinks for 15 years and then went on to Fed Ex for 25 years. He was involved in the Spring Valley Youth Softball Program for 34 years. Ricky enjoyed golf, softball, bowling, fishing and camping. He never met a stranger. Go Bucks!Play Ball!
Services and celebration of life 3pm Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Walton Park (Main St, Spring Valley, OH).
