Rickey Lee Longstreath

Rickey "Rick" Lee Longstreath, age 67, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 22,2022. He was born on December 3, 1954, to the late James Longstreath Sr and Betty Longstreath (Schidecker) in Dayton, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he survived by his loving son Ron Longstreath married to Elizabeth Longstreath and daughter Sheila Douglas married to Shawn Robert Michael Douglas along with his beautiful grandchildren Skylie, Kyson, Bryson, Alia, and Harley.

Rick made a career for himself by joining the US Navy at age 17 in September of 1974 and retired with a Honorable Discharge at the age of 40 on August 31, 1995 being a Weapon System Engagement Planner.

Visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd Dayton on Wednesday August 31st, 2022 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, funeral service will follow at 1:30pm. Rick will be laid to rest with honors at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 170 N Valley Rd Xenia, Ohio 45385.
