Rickey Dean Hornback, 71, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2019 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born on January 26, 1948 to Euell and Virginia (Harmon) Hornback in Dayton, OH.
Rickey spent 31 years as a Job Setter for General Motors.
He liked to ride his red scooter all over town, he never knew a stranger. He loved his family more than anything.
Rickey also enjoyed music and played the piano like Jerry Lee Lewis.
He married Sharon A. Hornback (Campbell).
Rickey is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children, Denise (Eddie) White, Brian (Kristen) Hornback, Sheri (Rob) Amos, Robert (Regina) Johnson; grandchildren, Brian David, Emily, Lauren, Kaley, and Bobby; great grandson, Braxton; brother, Elgon; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Euell and Virginia Hornback; sister, Geraldine "Gerrie"; and sister-in-law, Charlotte.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel.
Funeral services will follow at 10:00 am.
Interment immediately after at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
Memorials are suggested to the Hospice of Dayton.
