Rickey Gamble

Gamble, Rickey "Rick", age 52, of Vandalia, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at OSU Medical Center. He was born August 26, 1954 in Dayton, OH. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert & Bertha Gamble; brothers, Bruce & Keith Gamble. Survivors include his wife, Cathy Gamble of Vandalia; 2 sons, Scott (Heather) Mitchell of Huber Heights & Rev. William (Sommer) Mullins of Delray Beach, FL; daughter, Stacey Butler of Vandalia; 7 precious grandchildren, Nicholas, Sydney, Eleanor, Elijah, Lily, Harriett, & Josh, and soon to be granddaughter-in-law, Lauren Crutchfield. He leaves behind 2 sisters, Penny Walters & Betty Storck, both of Northridge; 1 brother, Dave Gamble of Enon; and numerous nieces & nephews including Billy Walters of Northridge. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH, with Rev. Landon Whitsitt & Deacon John H. Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Willow View Cemetery, Dayton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 PM.
