Rickey D. Finney
Age 55, of Dayton, passed away Monday, December 28, 2009, at Grandview Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Harris; and by two brothers, Ron & Randy Finney.
Rickey is survived by his loving wife of the past 34 years, Frances V. Finney; his father, Ernie Finney; two brothers, Donald Harris & Doug Finney; one sister, Sandy Hill; five step-children, John & his wife, Donna Jones, Vicky & her husband, Jim Meeks, Rick & his wife, Tina Jones, Jerry Jones & Sherry & her husband, George Cannon; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren, and by his extended family & many good friends.
Rickey loved football and was a huge Bengals fan. He also was a noted history buff, foreign & domestic, and was well read. He will be remembered by his family as a loving husband & father and will be sorely missed.
The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Dale Givens officiating.
