Rick Severs

Rick Severs, age 66, of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Kettering Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Dick and Rita Severs.

In addition to his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his sister, Diana Severs; father-in-law, Neil Hampton; and brother-in-law, Dirk Hampton.

Rick is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 37 years, Sheba Hampton Severs; mother-in-law, Louise Hampton; neice Katie; nephew Ben; great neice Langston; great nephew, Cruz; as well as many other family and friends.

Rick graduated from West Carrollton in 1969 and studied Industrial Arts at Miami University. Rick retired from General Motors as a Team Leader after 34 years of employment. Rick loved boating Lake Norris and Cumberland. He also loved fishing, hunting, camping, and golfing. Rick was also a member of Grace Lutheran Church in West Carrollton.

Family will receive guests during a memorial gathering from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Newcomer South Chapel, Kettering. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm also at the funeral home.
