Rick Rhea, 67, of Dayton, Ohio passed away on March 22, 2017. He was born March 14, 1950 in Dayton, OH to the late Joseph and Bernadette Rhea.
Rick was currently employed with Ohio Medical Transport and a member of the AMVETS Post #24.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Chrissy Smith and Rebecca Rhea; sister, Barbara McNabb and brothers, Joseph and Bill Rhea.
Rick will be missed by his son, Richie (Athena Hall) Rhea; 22 grandchildren; significant other, Brenda Ash; siblings, Rita (Bill) Watts-Iiames, Ed (Vickie) Rhea, Tom (Kathy) Rhea, Jim (Mary Lou) Rhea and John (Peggy Wilson) Rhea; sister-in-law, LaVelle Rhea and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends, Monday, March 27, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights, OH, Fr. Ethan Moore, Celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
