Rick A. McKinley

Rick A. McKinley, age 62, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 after a long illness. Rick was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 31, 1961 to the late William and Faye McKinley.

He is preceded in death by his mom, Faye (Smith) McKinley; dad, William K. McKinley; sisters, Retta and Anita; and his brother, Kris. 

Rick leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Anne; his children, Jennifer (Jherek), Brandon, Doug (Beth), Jon (Andrea) and Robin; grandchildren, Allie, Aleyna, Madelyn, Liam, Travis, Tyler, Kyle, Billy, Michael and Caleb; brother, Paul; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren; as well as extended bonus family.

Rick loved to talk and did everything on his own time. He was deeply loved and will be missed. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's memory to the Cardiothoracic Transplant Research Fund #301850 OSU Lung Transplant (410 W 40th Ave 825 Doan Hall Columbus OH 43210).

Visitation will be held from 2:00pm-3:00pm on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, with a memorial service being held at 3:00pm with Zach Spidel officiating.
