Richard Whitaker

WHITAKER, Richard age 54 of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2005 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents Ollie and Clarinda Whitaker and his brother James Whitaker. He is survived by his loving wife, Debra, his step children Jason and wife Cheryl Staton, Robbie and wife April Staton, Andy and companion Amanda Staton; granddaughter McKenzie Staton; 8 siblings, among them being, special brothers Glenn and wife Jill Whitaker, Oliver and wife Kay Whitaker; special niece Tacy and husband Rick Proffitt; father-in-law Donald Baer Sr.; brother-in-law Don Jr. and wife Kay Baer; sister-in-law Denise and husband Rick Dobbins; and a host of other relatives and friends. Richard was a 1969 graduate of Mason High School in Mason,MI. He was employed with CSA as a vender serving the Lowe's Stores. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, with Pastor Harris Fry officiating. Family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home, and from 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday. Interment at Woodland Cemetery.
