WETZEL, Richard "Dick", age 91, of Beavercreek, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty; children, Robert (Jo Ellen) and Diana; grandchildren, David (fiancée, Leslie Warren) and Jody; sister, Shirley Wallace, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He served in the U. S. Navy during WWII as a Naval Aviator, who flew torpedo bombers. He retired from the Dayton Fire Department after 27 years and enjoyed building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. Richard had a fun-loving sense of humor who made friends easily, and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
