Richard Wayne Mumy
February 22, 1934 — January 31, 2015
Richard W. Mumy, age 80, of Dayton, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn "Barb" Mumy; second wife, Ella Mumy and parents, Burel and Wilma Mumy. Richard is survived by his children, Vince (Nancy "Stevie") Mumy, Milissa Mumy and Stuart (Karen) Mumy; sisters, Frances Bergeon and Beth Patterson; grandchildren, Evyn and Alex Mumy and aunt, Barbara "Bobbie" Cleland. Family will receive friends from 10:30 - 11:30 am on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek with a funeral service following at 11:30 am. Burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
