Carson, Richard Valentine, age 69, of Moraine, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Dick was a United States Air Force Veteran and an avid outdoorsman who loved mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed watching and cheering for his favorite football teams, University of Notre Dame, Ohio State University and the Cleveland Browns. Dick is survived by eight daughters and sons-in-law: Susie (Mike) Drummond, Heidi Turner, Debra Carson, Christina (Gregory) Haas, Lisa (Basim) Nada, Jennifer (Dominic) Colaizzi, Tonya Elliott, Angela Carson; mother: Julia M. Carson; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law: Tom Carson, David (Mary Lynn) Carson, Russell (Sherry) Carson; sisters and brothers-in-law: Carol (Everrett) Rodgers, Mary Jo (Clarence) Sampson, Judy Henderson; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Walter A. Carson and brother: Jack Carson. A Memorial Mass will be said at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, May 8, 2009 at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Ave., Dayton with Father William O'Donnell Celebrant. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the Montgomery County Humane Society or SISCA.
