Richard Tammeveski

Tammeveski, Richard, age 74, of Moraine, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, April 13, 2011. Dick retired from the Dayton Daily News as a pressman and was a member of Local #56. Dick is survived by his wife of 38 years: Donna; son: Robert (Tammeveski) Hughes; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Patricia "Pat" & Sam Grim; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; very special friend: Garry Vickers; and his loyal companion and best friend, his dog: Prince. He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard & Hilda Tammeveski and his son: Michael (Tammeveski) Hughes. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Dayton.
