Richard E. Spielman, Sr.

Richard E. "Fritz" Spielman, Sr., age 77 of Riverside, passed away April 4, 2021. He was born February 26, 1944 in Castle Shannon, PA. Fritz was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Brunner.
Fritz is survived by his wife of 51 years, Shirley Spielman; sons: Richard Spielman, Jr. (Danan) and Michael Spielman (Jamie); grandchildren: Dillon, Kaitlynn, Makayla, Ashleigh and Hailey; great-grandchildren: Ben and Luke; brother, Tom Brunner (Sandy); nieces and nephews: Adam, Amy, Cory, Tyler, Erika and Ryan.
Fritz was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, during the Vietnam War. He was an auditor with the U.S. Air Force and retired from WPAFB after nearly 30 years of service. Fritz was a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers, and U.S.A. Track and Field; and was a treasurer for Ohio Track and Field.
