Richard Lee Sparks, age 64 of Middletown, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Kindred Hospital. He was born October 16, 1956 in Campton, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Sparks; mother and step-father, Dorothy and James Russell; brother, James Sparks; maternal grandparents, Nora and George Spencer.
Richard is survived by his wife, Rita; sisters, Donna Russell (Tony Guerrero), Diana (Steve) Harmeling, Barbara Turner (Dean Kennedy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Richard was a truck driver and very proud of his profession. He enjoyed traveling, loved fishing and hunting, but most of all, he loved getting together with his family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (4930 Central Ave, Middletown, Ohio 45044). Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Middletown.
