Richard A. Smith, also known as "Dick", age 83, of New Carlisle, passed away on March 18, 2023. He was born on July 8, 1939 to the late Walter and Betty Smith.
He retired from ABF Freight and afterwards, worked at the Dayton Auto Auction. Dick was an Oldsmobile Man and a car show enthusiast. He and his wife followed the Van-Dells for many years.
He will be remembered by his beloved wife of over 62 years, Sharon Smith; his sons: Rick Smith and Raymond Smith; his brothers, John (Sondra) Elkins and Steve Smith; his sisters, Linda Elkins and Janice Brewster; brother-in-law, David Henn; closest friends, Mark (Diane) Miller, Tom Hensley, Norbert Mayer, Johnny Hobbs and Bill Masters; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A visitation will held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Newcomer North Chapel, in Dayton, Ohio.
