SCOTT, Richard R., age 77, of Beavercreek, passed away on May 17, 2018, born August 8, 1940 to the late Alma and Wilbur Scott. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Robert Scott; sisters, Phyllis Scott, Francis Taylor, Dororthy Harris, Marylou Peevler, and son-in-law, Paul Heffley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Patricia Scott; sister, Janice Allen; son, Richard (Deborah Cahn) Scott; daughter, Sandra Losito; grandchildren, Tony Scott Fuller, Casandra (Garry) Heinlein, Shane (Sabrina) Heffley, Paul (Gina) Heffley; great grandchildren, Sidalee Heffley, Garry Heinlein, Brody Heffley, and Adalyn Heffley; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as special friends, Daryl Brown and the Wayside Chapel Church family.

Richard was a lifetime Harness Horseman, worked for NCR and Monarch Marketing until retirement in 1988. He also served in the United States Army from 1958 - 1963.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on May 23, 2018 at Newcomer (Beavercreek Chapel) 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on May 24, 2018 also at the funeral home, with burial following at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery, Beavercreek.
