Richard C. "Rick" Rodgers, 68, of Dayton (Riverside), Ohio passed away on October 26, 2014 in his home.
He was born on January 27, 1946, in Dayton, to the late Richard T. and Pearl (Kinsey) Rodgers.
Rick was a 1964 Graduate of Kiser High School, retired from GM in 1996 after 30 years of service and was a member of IUE #755.
In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Carole Ann Smith; brother, Gary A. Rodgers Sr.; nephew, Billy Smith Jr.
Rick is survived by his brother, Fred Rodgers Sr.; brother-in-law, Billy Smith Sr.; nieces and nephews,
Tricia (Louie Zinzigk), Vicki, Joey Smith, Elizabeth (Randy) Hodges, Gary Jr., Joe, Tammy (Phillip), Fred Jr., Rodgers, Markel (Chris) Lemke and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be from 2-4 pm Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory (4104 Needmore Road, Dayton), where his Funeral Ceremony will begin Saturday at 4 pm with The Rev. Dr. Charles C. Williams, Jr. officiating.
