Richard Lee Roach

Richard "Dickie" Roach, age 64, of Riverside, Ohio, passed away on February 28, 2024. He was born in Dayton on July 21, 1959.

Dickie was preceded in death by his step dad, Walter Plessinger, Sr.; grandparents: Betsy Plessinger and Thomas Roach; sister, Annie; mother and father in law, Mary Ann and Bob Keininger; and many other relatives.

Dickie is survived by his wife of nearly 38 years, Gladys Roach; children: Brenda Lewis, Terry Ritter, and Gary Goodrich; grandchildren: Eric Lewis, Josh Ritter, and Emily Ritter; great grandchildren: Breanna Lewis, Miya Lewis, Grady Ritter, and Laila Tucker; mother, Carol Plessinger (Roach); brothers: Samuel Plessinger and Walter Plessinger Jr.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Dickie loved to work on cars and ride bikes in his younger years. He enjoyed riding go-karts and four wheelers. He especially loved to drive his grandchildren around in them. Most of all Dickie loved to spend time with his family.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will immediately follow at 10:30am officiated by Pastor Loudermilk. Dickie will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
