Richard Rickett

Richard Rickett, age 65 of Huber Heights, passed away February 13, 2013. He was born February 3, 1948 in Huntington, WV to the late Roy and Goldie Rickett. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Smith.

Richard is survived by his wife, Linda Rickett; daughters: Heather Rickett and Andrea Rickett; step-son, James Singleton; grandchildren: Parker Rickett, Brandon Singleton, Bryson Singleton and Hayden Singleton; brother, Robert Rickett; sister, Wanda (Jerry) Long; mother-in-law, Jeanne Johnson; sisters-in-law: Vanessa Gardner, Cheryl (Dover) Ball and Karen (Pete) Compaleo; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Vietnam War. He worked as a Realtor for many years and retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Richard loved music; he played the guitar since he was a teenager and played in many bands throughout the years.
