Richard Charles Reasoner

Richard Charles Reasoner, age 92 of Riverside, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at Village at the Greene. He was born February 6, 1927 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Albert and Bertha Reasoner.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Helen Reasoner and sister, Phyllis Rike.
Richard was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan. He coached baseball for many years. He was skilled at remodeling having made many improvements to his home.
Richard is survived by his wife of 71 years Alice; sons, Dennis C. (Julia C.) Reasoner, Donald L. (Lori) Reasoner; daughter, Sandra K. Whitehead; sisters, Bonnie (Jack) Hankinson and Doris Elcass; grandchildren, Robin (Todd) Barrett, A. J. (Carmella) Whitehead, Lindsey (Mark) Downing, Brett Reasoner, Brittney Reasoner and Tyler Reasoner; great grandchildren, Evan, Ross and Nicholas Barrett, Jacob and Graham Whitehead, Max Downing and Brianne Reasoner. He is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Memorial Gathering will be held on July 6, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Beavercreek Chapel 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Please visit www.newcomerdayton.com to share a memory in the family guest book.
