POTTS, Richard E., 92 of Troy, OH passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2006. He owned and operated the Manchester Dairy Store from 1937-1942, then worked for NCR for 32 years before retiring in 1975. He made friends easily and especially enjoyed his church, family, and faithfully serving as Ambassador for Culver's Restaurant in Troy. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Birdie Evelyn (nee Teegarden); siblings: Garnet McGowen, James Potts and Henry Potts. He is survived by his sons, Donald (Dottie) and Dale (Wanda Sue) Potts; grandchildren: David (Lynnae) Potts, Diana (Dirk) Ferguson, Dwayne (Ellen) Potts, Dawn (John) Chapman-Potts, Brian (Kathy) Potts; great-grandchildren: Brandon, Derek, Alecia, Jesica, Luke, J.W., Nolan, William; siblings: Esther Potts, Gladys Hughes, Martha Steiner-Moon, Edna Waldren. Visitation will be held 5-7:00PM TODAY, Thursday, August 3, 2006 at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3940 Kettering Blvd.), where funeral services will be held 1:30PM Friday, August 4th.
