POTTENGER Sr., Richard D. "Dick"
Age 75, passed away January 27, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Eileen Pottenger and two brothers, Jim and Kenny Pottenger.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edie Pottenger; daughter, Debra Kay Pottenger; sons, Richard Pottenger (Melanie Heidkamp) and Doug Pottenger; brother, Eddie Pottenger; and numerous nieces, nephews, and fishing buddies.
Dick retired from DP&L after 43 years of services. He was an avid fisherman who spent many hours with his fishing buddies.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 2, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home, with his daughter, Debbie Kay Pottenger officiating. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
