Richard Nelson Pollitt

Richard (Dick) Nelson Pollitt, age 86 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Laurels of Huber Heights. He was born July 12, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Edward and Doretta Pollitt.
Dick served in the U.S. Army. He retired as an engineer from DP&L in 1997 after 40 years of service. He was an avid bowler.
In addition to his parents, Dick was preceded in death by his sisters, Lois Tate and Donna Frith.
Dick will be missed by his loving children, Stephen D. Pollitt and Anita D. (Mike) Randall; grandchildren, Nathan Randall and Joshua Randall; four great-grandchildren, Lexi, Haylee, Dani and Aiden; sister, Susan Bartlett; several nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Dick's memory to the Diabetes Association.
