Richard Peterson Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, SR., Richard Peterson "Dick", age 81, passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma; sons, Ricki and Michael; sister, Maurece (Karl); brothers, John, Dave, Bob "Moon", and Don; son-in-law, Michael Piazza, and granddaughter, Nicole. Dick is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley; daughters, Susan, Sara, and Laura; daughter-in-law, Karla; brother, Jim; sister, Rosemary; grandchildren, Jeremiah (Rachael), Anna (Brian), Samuel, Franklin, Michael, Suzanna, Joey; great grandchildren, Gunnar and Esmeralda; close friends, Charles, George, and Tom, as well as loving nieces and nephews. Dick was a loving husband and father and good friend to all. He loved to fly and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Dick was also a member of the Millennium Lodge and will be greatly missed.
