Richard P. Livingood, age 85, of Miamisburg, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
He was born March 30, 1926 in Cleveland, OH to the late Alden & Margaret Livingood.
Richard served as a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He worked as a carpenter/home builder for many years.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Matson Livingood.
He is survived by his sons, Ross & David Livingood; sister-in-law, Marie Matson Carle; and brother-in-law, William Daniel Carle.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 31, 2011 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). A service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 10am at the funeral home, with Pastor Ron Houser officiating. The burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, OH.
Donations may be made in Richard's memory to The Bethel Christian Assembly of God (327 S. Smithville Rd, Dayton, OH 45403).
