Richard P. Herman
Age 64, of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at Vitas Hospice.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wendell & Ronald Herman.

Richard is survived by his partner of the past 14 years, Jeanna S. Reedy; son, Greg Herman; step-daughter, Tina & her husband, Julian Jones and their children, Jasmin, Daycia & Kia; step-son, Andy Reedy and his son, Andrew, Jr; and by his extended family and many good friends.

Richard was a U. S. Marine Corps veteran. He was an avid fisherman, very creative and an excellent handyman.

The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., Saturday (6/6), at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with interment at Woodland Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the nurses & doctors at Good Samaritan Hospital ICU for the excellent care they provided.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Richard to Vitas Hospice, 1 Elizabeth Place, Dayton, Ohio 45408.
