Richard D. Overman "Dean", age 81 of West Carrollton, passed away July 16, 2018. He was born on August 5, 1936 in Waverly, OH to the late Francis and Kathryn (Walker) Overman. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by his brothers, Gordon and Joseph Overman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Stella Overman; children, Rick (Delma) Overman, Debbie Overman-LeMaster, Terry (Loree) Overman, Timothy Overman Sr., Scott Overman, Tony (Lisa) Overman, Penny (Jerry) Mason, Joanna (Steve) Bilderback and Nutter (Farrah) Overman; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter; brothers, William, Kenny and Lynn; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday, July 20, 2018 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 11 AM with his grandson, Matthew Overman officiating. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH.
