Richard O. Metzger, 87, of Fairfield Township, Ohio, passed away on February 27, 2022. He was born on July 2, 1934 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Orlin and Bertha Metzger. In addition to his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his first wife Joyce Metzger; sisters Mary Thompson, and Sharon Ranck.
Richard is survived by his wife Lenore Metzger; daughter Gwen (Ron) Thompson; and grandson Zachary Thompson; and numerous other friends and family.
Richard used to love riding his motorcycle and golfing. He enjoyed watching old western movies and the news.
Funeral services will be held at 5 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Visitation will begin at 3 PM on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 until the time of service.
