Richard B. Marlow, 76, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Genesis Health Center, Troy, Ohio. He was born in Troy, OH, on May 1, 1940 to Delmar and Mary (Carrity) Marlow. Richard was married to Sherril (Nies) Marlow on February 14, 1995 in Tipp City.
Richard was a graduate of Miami East High School in 1959, he served his country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Air Force. He was a longtime member of Corvette Troy, spending the last 15 plus years after he retired, enjoying his passion for Corvettes by helping his friends with their cars, turning his hobby into a full time dream. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Richard is survived by his wife; a daughter Cassandra Low; two granddaughters Melina and Kierra Low; step daughter Heather (Dave) Concannon; step granddaughter Emma Cockrell; two brothers Wilbur Marlow and Robert (Patricia) Marlow; his brother in law Dale Parkey; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Eugene Marlow and a sister Joan Parkey.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Richard's life will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory-North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424.
